Yes, she is a cookie monster. Look at that little lamb chop eating cookie like a one year old toddler.

She is very sneaky though one she sees that kuya Jake has cookie in his hand she would follow him around and grab Jake's cookie. Every time Jake has a food or cookie in his hand he put them in a table, floor or his hiding place and come back for later. But Justine follows him around so she steals those cookies that Jake hides. Even the Oreo that is very hard she would eat it. I have seen her countless of times eating cookie and having hard time chewing because she only had one tooth and she still finish the whole piece of cookie. Even before when she was still toothless she already eat cookie.

In this pictures Justine was not feeling well but look at that she still able to munch on her cookie. She eats rice now and veggies like carrots and potatoes. I'm glad this girl is a good eater.

Blogging and Wrinkles

Do you agree with me that blogging can give you wrinkles? You sleep late because you need to bloghop, visit your blogger friends, leave comments, finish writing your task and update your blog. Get Back In Shape

Disappointed

Last night I had tummy ache but I still stayed late to clean up the toys that scattered all over the place and had everything ready for tomorrow. I was going to come with hubby to work today so I can go to church over there at his work. But then when he got up early in the morning he asked me if it's okay if I'll go some other time. He wanted to get to work early and he did want to wait for us getting dress. I was disappointed because he already said yes last night and then changed the plan all of a sudden. I don't want to start another fight today. This kind of thing made me upset and feeling depressed. I get upset when someone make promises and end up breaking it. So, here I am now pouting in front of the computer reading article about natural treatment for depression. With my situation sometimes I feel depressed and feeling alone and lonely. I have kids who make me laugh and give reason to smile but there are times that I really feeling down and need someone to talk. And going to church today was very important to me because it's been a year or so that I attended mass. My husband is too lazy to drive me to the church and that is very depressing isn't it? Anyhow, I'll just finish my task and play games at face book so I forget my frustration and disappointment.

Stomach Ache

I had stomach ache last night and did not finish my task about fat burner. I was composing my post when my stomach not feeling well. I ate my dinner late last night and of course I finished the last sardines that I bought from the Asian store last Sunday. I eat while reading reviews and writing in front of the computer. Before I gobble the last spoonful of food my stomach started feeling bad, I had to run to the bathroom as quick as could. I took pepto bismol and I'm glad it went away after few hours. I think I ate too much sardines this week and that was probably the cause. I think I'll stay away from sardines for now. Eating too much is sometimes not a good idea.

Ornery Buckaroo

Jake our little buckaroo is now big buckaroo. Very ornery, sometimes funny, silly and sometimes annoying. Hubby put him to bed tonight and the came back down. Jake's attitude is when his Dada already gone in the room he gets up and play. So hubby came down and forgot to close the bathroom. We were watching TV downstairs when hubby got choked and almost running out of breath. He was having captain crunch cereals and got choked with it. After he recovered he went upstairs to checked on Jake and found out all the toilet stuff inside his room like the plunger, 409 cleaner, comet, kaboom and handwash. Those stuff are very poisonous and should always be place away from children's reach. I actually hid them in the bathroom and since the buckaroo is growing he can reach those handwash in the sink. Hubby was furious and put him in the crib. Jake doesn't like his crib anymore so he cried to the top of his lung. He calm down after few minutes and babger put him back in his bed, and shut the bathroom. He never got up and went to sleep because he doesn't want to spend the night in the crib. That is how ornery my buckaroo.

Lately, he is been waking up at the middle of the night and transferred to our room. In the morning he gets up early and wake us up. I am not a morning person so I am having hard time opening my eyes and wake my whole system early in the morning. So, if he wakes me up I don't get up right away instead I'd go back to sleep and tell him to give me 5 minutes. But the buckaroo doesn't have the patience to wait he would start banging his head in my head or pull my hair. If the little lambchop is up she also pulls my hair and poke my eyes, nose or scratch my face. My life is totally over and rugrats rules now.

Curious Mind

It made me laugh the thought of my being so naive when I was single. One of my neighbors in that subdivision where I bought a house was gay. He uses lots of products for his face, skin, hair, and more. He has a glowing skin so I asked what his secret was. He used avocado for his face and drink virgin oil for his skin. So, out of curiosity I took virgin oil too that made my stomach feeling weird. It had some reaction in my body that it made me sick. I think the oil reacted in my stomach and other parts of my body. At that time I was a happy go lucky who didn't care about health and everything. I ignored the pain and didn't bother to research the cause. I also don't know about colonix reviews or any other colon cleansing products. The pain didn't go away until one day I couldn't endure the pain anymore. So, I went to the doctor and they found sticky thing and the reason that my blood didn't come out was because it stick in there. The doctor prescribed me a medicine to help clean the inside of my body as well as observed any discharge from that blood clot. I learned a lesson from that experience and never tried it again.

My Visitor is Here

I am glad that my monthly visitor is finally here which means I am not pregnant. Last week I was worried because my tummy is always hurting, I didn't feel good because of head ache, I was feeling nauseous and dizzy, and I started seeing pimples in my face. I got paranoid and didn't even want to think that I might pregnant because I missed taking my pills sometimes. The pimples that I saw on my forehead and face got me worried also, so I surf online for acne treatment and found the review of acnepril. It is one of the most powerful acne pills. Glad he is Fine

Joe took Jake to the doctor to have x-ray for his foot. The came home with great news that his foot is fine. They saw no problems or any bruises of some sort that got damaged from the accident. In fact when we were there he walk with his flat feet and run around. When they got home he started limping again. I think it will take time for him to walk normal. I have a feeling he was traumatized from that hard and heavy glass table fell on his foot. Atleast I have peace of mind now that my buckaroo is perfectly fine. Thank you guys for your concern and prayer.

Jake know some of the letters in the alphabet and almost all the numbers from 1 - 9. Although he refuses to say some of the letters and numbers that he find it hard to say but I can tell that he is trying to say them. The video above was taken couple of weeks ago during lunch time. I tried to take a video of him reading all the letters and numbers but as soon as I played the video the second time he stopped and asked for food. Now, every time he sees letters and numbers on the TV, computer and every where he just read them. I am so proud of my little buckaroo. He is still 25 months old and he knows almost all of the letters and numbers.

My husband used to have a bad back and went to a chiropractor for almost two years. During that time I was also pregnant with my eldest and getting body pain most of the time. Still Limping

We went to the park late this afternoon to have Jake get loose and see if he walks normal. He still limping and wobbles if Joe not holding him. He able to walk few steps before falling down. He still prefer to walk tiptoed.
This is how he walks inside the house with out shoes on. He tiptoed both feet or the foot that got affected from the fall.


My heart bleeds when I saw my Jake having trouble walking. I can't bear watching him and thinking of his situation. I felt bad and guilty because I let him go upstairs and play on his own. I feel such a terrible mom for letting this happen to Jake. This accident won't have had happen if it wasn't for our negligence. Forgive us Jake and hope God will help you overcome all this. Jake is not complaining but i can tell that it hinder him from having fun playing and dancing with his favorite cartoons and shows.

We will take him to the doctor next week and have an x-ray exam to see if there is any broken bone in his foot.

I posted in my other blog a topic about the Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels on how she got some interesting feedbacks regarding the comments she made in Women’s Health magazine. She commented that she'd rather adopt a child than get pregnant as she can't handle to do that to her body. The said trainer is also endorsing weight loss products and coach on how to be healthy as her job. In fairness she has a nice body with good buff and firmness. I want to have a body like that but that's only a wishful thinking as I know it's impossible to happen. I still have to do more effort on my diet and exercise to get back in shape.

I am not asthmatic but when I was pregnant with Justine the Doctor had to use spirometers in taking a test on me because the medicine he prescribed for my cough was not working. That pregnancy was tough on me. Even the inhaler that the doctor asked me to used not working. That happened in spring time of last year. The doctor even said that my condition was just the cause of spring allergy. So, after the test, he gave me another prescription and I was glad it worked great before my due date. Anyhow, my sister was back in the Philippines last February and she is planning to enroll again in medical course. She already finished six months of care giving course. She asked me if I know a place that sells quality medical equipment. She lost her old stethoscope and the one for blood pressure because one of her friends borrowed it and forgot to return. I gave her the link of the site so she can check it online.

Updates about J&J

The spring allergy looks like it starting to subside. My Jake and Justine are feeling better now. Justine is not having fever anymore since yesterday while Jake is been walking but limping. He can't walk with his foot flat, his limping and walks tiptoed. He tiptoed and walks or run with the sole of his foot not touching the ground. I convinced my husband early this week to get an x-ray of Jake's foot to see if there is any part of his leg or foot was damaged from the heavy glass table fell on it. He said yes, but then suddenly he changed his mind because Jake's is walking alright. I just keep my mouth shut before we resort to some arguments. So, a while ago he said something like taking Jake to a doctor next week to get an x-ray because he was worried of how the way he walks. If this kind of thing happens to lots of older people they can already get disability insurance. And according to my husband toddler or young children have soft bones and Jake foot is probably just a bruise that causing the pain. My Mother in law also called and told him to take Jake to the doctor. It happens to her one time when she slipped in her drive way and couldn't get up. Good thing there was a neighbor saw her and help her out. My only concern right now is to get Jake walk normal again and hoping that his foot is fine. Our insurance will cover it just in case he needs a cast if they found out any broken bones or something. Anyhow, these are the updates of my J&J. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone!

This is my son watching his favorite show Imagination Movers on Disney Channel. Look at our tv stands, it screaming for a new one. Actually, it is not a TV stand it is a table. I had been bugging my husband to buy a new TV stand and he keep saying yes but no action done. My husband is the one who does the budgeting and buying for a new TV stand would perhaps the very least to his list. It's like definitely maybe yes; maybe not it depends to the budget. Seriously, I am saving my money so I can buy a new TV as well as TV stand in the near future.

WLW - What Do I Love Most About Summer?

I love summer time, who doesn't? The weather is warm, and if it's warm lots of thing you can do. Family BBQ at the back yard, go for picnic and bike ride, spend time at the park, and many more. You never get bored and you will enjoy your day not just inside as well as outside.

Or you could go for family vacation. Some place where you can have fun all day without putting any extra clothes. What I love summer most is you can wear single clothes, shorts and shirt. It is warm and no more back ache for me.

The best place to do during summer is going to the beach. Perfect for hot weather, get a tan (for those who love to have tan) show off your curves and enjoy the sand. Gone are the days when I used to do all these. I missed the beach, hope to go back someday.

Sleeping Late

This past couple of days I had been sleeping late. I stayed up late in the wee hours trying to finish my task and bloghop a little. This past weeks had been rough for us. The pollen and changes of the weather brings allergy to lots of people especially my kids and husband. Joe and the kids are having hard cough and I also not feeling well because of the birth control pills that I have been taking. I hate taking pills but I don't want to get pregnant again is I have no choice. Last weekend I had pending task that I finished last night before it will expire. Then last night I tried to update some of my blogs and bloghop as well. My body was exhausted from carrying Justine while typing and I feel sleepy because this two lil munchkins always got up so early. My saw pimples in my face now due to lack of sleep. I want to finish my task early icluding bloghopping and adgitizing so I can go to bed early tonight. Oh facebook games you are adding chores to my busy time.

I used to work at night and when my scheduled was changed to daytime I was having difficulty falling asleep. Eventually, after few days of sleeping in regular time my insomnia was gone and I able to sleep normal. However, I know that sleeping pills really helps sleeping condition because my sister and her husband are using it up until now. My husband and I were watching TV one time when a commercial of extenze appear. I am sure you have seen that commercial or advertisement too. Nothing wrong with it as long as you are in good condition taking stuff like this. My husband made a funny, silly and nonsense remarks that he thinks it good and wants to try. My little princess is not feeling well today because she is teething. She had fever but it's not that bad. She already had one tooth came out and I think the second one will come out soon that is why she is very fussy today. My back is aching for holding her all day as she always want to be held. Once this second tooth coming through she will be back to being happy lil princess.

Big Liltle Accident

My lil buckaroo had a little accident yesterday that makes me worried big time. Few days ago he broke the fence we put down the stairs to block him and keep him from going upstairs. Since it was already broken he'd been going up and down the stairs whenever he likes to play upstairs. He plays with Justine once in a while but most of the time he chooses to play on his own upstairs while the little girl left behind trying hard to learn how to climb the stairs. In the morning he gets up very early and come down stairs with out me knowing. That is why I had to get up as early as I could even though I hate it and that makes me crabby and bitchy. Anyhow, the other day he was upstairs the whole afternoon, Joedub came home early because he was sick and I was looking after Justine at the same time in front of the PC. He was sleeping, Jake was upstairs when all of a sudden I heard a big Bang. His cry was not as loud compared to any other kids. He was in pain because it was super heavy glass table that fell in his leg and foot.

This is the glass table that fell on his leg mostly hit the foot. I don't know how he managed to pull his foot when this thing fell as it was super heavy. I can't even lift this thick glass. We put this table upstairs when we had the Christmas tree. Joe just place the glass leaning in the side of the bookshelves instead of putting it on the floor. So, I guess Jake was reaching something on the bookshelves when he knocked this thing over. So, when I heard him crying in pain I went and run upstairs. He was there standing with one leg up and didn't want to walk. Until now he refuses to walk because it hurts when he put some weight on it. I told Joe to take him to the hospital and have it x-ray so we can see any damages in his leg especially the foot. He is not feeling well and he doesn't want to spend long hours of waiting in the children hospital so instead he called the Pediatrician and took Jake this morning. The doctor said if Jake still not walking in two days, we should take them to the hospital for x-ray.

This is another reason why I prefer to live in the Philippines because cases like this I don't mind waiting in a hospital just to make sure that my son is alright. I don't know how to drive so I have to depend on him to drive us to the hospital. If I'm in the Philippines I don't have to wait or beg or ask or bother him to take us to the hospital or anywhere we want. If there is an award for being such a complainer husband I think Joe would be the first honor.

I really hope and pray that Jake will be alright especially his feet. It breaks my heart watching him crawling again or moving by knees. Sometimes we can't just trust our kids to run around no matter how safe we think our house is.

Glad to hear that the With Love Wednesday hosted by Jona is now back with it's new blog site heartifying.com. This week topic is about our Favorite Summer Outfit which I'm sure all out ready fro summer time. In the Philippines right now I perhaps wear my shorts already and be in the beach because of the hotta hotta weather. Still spring here not summer yet, but there were time the sun was so nice to come out not this past few days where in the sun is shy I guess to come out. Even if there is sun the weather is kind of chilly, whatta tease!

Finally, I captured a Blue Jay...in my camera guys hehehe. This Blue Jay been hanging out at our backyard by the time I got the camera in my hand they're already gone. I took this at our kitchen that is why it looks blurred.

And they're off! The stages of crawling usually go something like this: from a sitting position to all fours, to rocking back and forth, to finally pushing off with the knees -- and then starting to move forward (or back). But there are plenty of variations on this progression. Many babies never crawl. Others develop a crawling style that looks more like soldiers bellying through the underbrush or monkeys poised on fingertips and tiptoes.

Justine have done all these when she was 6-7 months. At 8 months she can crawl already. She is 8 months and 2 week right now but she can already pull herself up and stand. She started doing this last week.




When Jake broke our fence going upstairs few days ago, he would go up and down the stairs back and forth. Justine love to play with so she chases him around but when the Kuya want to go upstairs the lil girl cries and wish she could follow. She tries to climb up the stairs but her leg still too short to reach it. She wants to walk and run like her kuya and giggles if you hold her walk. I guess that the advantage of being the second child coz you have alder siblings to look up and the developments seems faster than the first born.

Looking at the Sky

This is what the sky look like the last time we went outside. It was great and sunny but now the sky is gloomy. From that day my two little bundle of joy got runny nose that until now it gotten worst. Especially justine that she is breathing so harsh. I guess the weather change cause all this problem to my sweet babies. I just hope theywill feel better soon as in soon like now.

Back in the Philippines I know how most main cities over there are becoming productive. The tall buildings, nice roads, bigger malls and more shows the progress. But there are some department stores in the area that are using the old way in their counter or grocery stores. They don't have this barcode scanner that pick up codes easily. Some cashiers even type in the codes on the cash registrar. These are the things they need to update in their stores to get more customers and avoid long line waiting.

Darn Cough

My babies J & J are both sick right now. They have colds and cough. It was started with a runny nose during the weekend and now they are having hard cough. Jake handled all this pretty well but my Justine is always fussy and crying. Her cough is getting hard and her breathing sounds harsh. If only I could take that away from both of them I already did. This past couple of nights that she is having problem breathing because of the stuffy nose and harsh throat really give us less sleep. She cried last night because she can't sleep straight and sleeping is one of the thing that she wanted so badly. That is why if she has less sleep she become crabby and fussy. Tomorrow, we plan of taking her to the doctor because her breathing bothers her and me. I really feel bad for my lil jelly bean. The other night my husband showed me a house close to his mom in the country but the price was kind of high from our budget. So, he kept on the surfing the web and came across the site that has pictures of metal buildings. He finds those residential and commercial building that are made of steel amazing. It's effective and low cost. I think I wouldn't mind have a place build with metal. Especially these days that the economy still down we have to be practical in buying a house.

Allergy Strike Again

April means allergies. Of all the fun in spring allergy is not one of it. Last easter Sunday, my husband mowed the grass in our lawn and that when Jake and Justine started sneezing, and have runny nose. I think the fresh cut grass triggered their allergies or I think they both have allergens with fresh cut grass. Until now they are still sneezing and non stop runny, stuffy nose. And now Joe and I had runny nose too. I know I am not allergic with polen, or whatever that comes in spring but now I just felt so miserable plus the birth control pills made me feel like a crap.

What's an allergy?

An allergy is an immune reaction to a substance in the environment called an allergen.

When a child with allergies comes into contact with an allergen — either by touching it, breathing it, eating it, or having it injected — her body mistakenly views it as a dangerous invader and releases histamines and other chemicals to fight it off.

These chemicals irritate the body and cause symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, itching, and coughing. Symptoms can be mild or more severe, intermittent (seasonal, for example), or ongoing because of constant exposure to the allergen.

Blue Monday - Fun with Blue

The only place to find lots of blues is the playground don't you agree? The slides, swing, fountain and more are mostly painted in blue. Why? It's because blue is a cool color, very calming and peaceful. It can be strong and steadfast or light and friendly. Almost everyone likes some shade of the color blue. Last Thursday, we spent the day at the playground in the park and Friday we spent the day at the playground inside the mall. Then, Saturday we spent the day at Grandma in SR. My lil rascals having great time being outside especially the lil buckaroo.




Today, Easter Sunday we just hanging out at our backyard enjoying the sun, nice weather and watching th blue sky. That's my jungle feet. grin....Okay folks go to Smiling Sally to see more blues this Monday.

Sneaky Justine

My lil jelly bean just turn eight (8) months today. She is doing very well, so ahead in her age. She can now pull up herself and excited to learn how to walk. Her lover teethsis has started to come out. Justine is so attach to me that she cry if someone will hold her. She can pick up tiny things on the floor, and understand object permanence. She is getting cuter and funnier everyday. The video below was taken 2 or 3 weeks agao and in that video she was trying to sneak out to the kitchen. Very clever and sneaky lil rascal.
